Baked Winter Squash

  • 1 Large Winter Squash
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • Brown Sugar

Place Winter squash, cut into fouth and seeded, into large baking dish. Fill with 1 inch of water. Cover with foil and back in 375 degree oven for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until tender. Drain off most of the water leaving a little in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar to cover squash entirely. Dot with the butter and continue to bake until the butter and sugar have melted. Approximately 15 minutes more.
